Kapitonov Sergey Ivanovich

The main work of Kapitonov Sergey Ivanovich was carried out at Giprotsvetmet institute. Since the end of 60th years, he took directly part in development of a number of large projects of mining enterprises in Russian Federation, such as: Norilsk mine and metallurgical combine (NMMC); Sredneuralsk copper plant (SUCP); Dzhezkazgan, Balkhash and Almalyk MMC.
In a 80-90a years he worked as the chief project engineer, directed design and construction of a number of objects of mining branch in Russia and the CIS countries: The Urals, Siberia, Ukraine and Belarus, and also abroad in Bulgaria.
Is the author of a number of articles in scientific and technical magazines. Has 8 copyright certificates.
In publishing department of institute Kapitonov S.I. began the activity in 2006 as the deputy chief of publishing department and the deputy chief editor of the scientific and technical and production magazine "Mine Surveying Bulletin" issued by "Giprotsvetmet" since 1992.
In 2008 Kapitonov S.I. became the editor-in-chief of the magazine. For many years under its management the "Mine Surveying Bulletin" keep high professional level, expand the subject of magazine, actively to involve in discussion of problems of skilled specialists of mining.
Since 2012 the editor-in-chief of magazine is the permanent member of Central Office of LLC «Union of surveyors of Russia» which is the center of association of surveyors For popularization of activity of USR in magazine the editor-in-chief extended heading "In Union of surveyors of Russia".
The success of the magazine is in many respects provided by highly skilled drafting in which structure the chief editor managed to attract the prominent specialists of mining industry and subsurface resources management.
