Giprotsvetmet and Global engineering, project delivery and operations management group, DRA Global signs Cooperation Agreement
JSC "Giprotsvetmet" (part of the Rostec-Business Development Corporation holding companies) and Global engineering, project delivery and operations management group, DRA Global ("DRA") have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) establishing a cooperation agreement for the delivery of high-quality engineering services in Russia and the CIS countries.
Through this agreement JSC "Giprotsvetmet" and DRA significantly increases the in-country offering to all clients within the mining and metallurgical sector.
"Signing of the Memorandum is the first step towards the consolidation of our competencies and experience for the development of projects in the mining and metallurgical industries. By combining our efforts, we will be able to present a compelling offer to potential clients within Russia and the CIS countries," commented Vadim Gurov, Operational Director from JSC "Giprotsvetmet".
The agreement facilitates various areas of cooperation to deliver projects in the mining and metallurgical industry. Service delivery includes the preparation of the Scoping Studies, Pre-Feasibility and Feasibility Studies, design, equipment supply, audit and consulting as well as the development of BIM technologies and integrated project delivery services.
"The Russian and CIS markets offer a unique attraction to DRA and we believe our extensive experience and broad capabilities will add significant value to projects and clients in these markets", said Christo Visser, Senior Vice President of Origination at DRA. The organisation is currently implementing projects and studies for several clients in Russia and CIS countries, "This agreement confirms our commitment to Russia and the CIS region as whole", comments Visser.
