Giprotsvetmet received a positive conclusion by "Main Department of State Expertise" for basic engineering documentation for deposit "Tsentralnoe"
Basic engineering documentation "Development of the Tsentralnoe chrome ore deposit by the underground method", was developed by JSC "Giprotsvetmet" for the JSC "Chelyabinsk electrometallurgical plant" (JSC "CEMP"), received a positive conclusion from Federal autonomous institution "Main Department of State Expertise" of Russia.
Federal autonomous institution "Main Department of State Expertise" issued a positive conclusion expertise No. 89-1-1-3-004022-2019 for the basic engineering documentation "Development of the Tsentralnoe chrome ore deposit by the underground method" for JSC "Chelyabinsk electrometallurgical plant".
"Basic engineering documentation complies with established requirements," the agency's document says.
Basic engineering documentation contains technical solutions for measures that ensures fire and explosion safety of the facility, as well as safe and healthy operation for people, protection of the population and the territory, stable function of the facility in emergency situations, environmental protection and safety.
"The management of the Company is grateful to all the specialists that were involved in the development of the basic engineering documentation for their efficiency and high quality standards. Obtaining a positive conclusion from the "Main Department of State Expertise" will allow JSC "CEMP" to obtain a construction permit and proceed with the development of the project" commented Vadim Gurov, operational director of JSC "Giprotsvetmet".

"Tsentralnoye" chrome ore deposit is located on the eastern slope of the Polar Urals in the Yamalo-Nenetskogo Autonomous District of the Tyumen Region, in the southwestern part of the Rai-Iz Mountain massive. The annual capacity of the deposit is 330 thousand tons of ore. Currently, the license for the development of the deposit is owned by JSC "CEMP".
